Sprinkle-Dipped Marshmallow Sticks

Sprinkle-Dipped Marshmallow Sticks

(the zero-effort party treat kids think is amazing)

You know those party snacks that look super cute, cost basically nothing,
and take less time than blowing up balloons?

This is one of them.

Big fluffy jumbo marshmallows, a quick dip in icing, a roll through sprinkles…
and suddenly you’ve got a colourful little treat that looks completely party-ready with almost no work.

Perfect for birthdays, classroom celebrations, bake sales, or those
“we need something for the party table in 10 minutes” moments.

Why parents love these

  • No baking. No melting. No stress.

  • Made with cheap supermarket ingredients

  • Easy enough for kids to help make

  • Instantly matches any party colour theme

  • Looks adorable standing in jars or foam displays

Honestly… they’re the definition of maximum cute, minimum effort.

What you need

  • Jumbo marshmallows

  • Long cake-pop sticks

    • Kebab sticks work too — just cut the sharp tip off first for safety

  • Ready-made icing or frosting (any colour)

  • Sprinkles (go wild here)

That’s it. Four simple things.

How to make them

1. Add the sticks

Push a stick gently into each jumbo marshmallow.
Stop about halfway so it stays secure.

2. Prep your dipping bowls

Put icing in one bowl and sprinkles in another.
If the icing is thick, microwave it for 10–15 seconds to loosen it.

3. Dip and decorate

Dip the top of each marshmallow into icing,
then roll straight into sprinkles so they stick nicely.

Place on baking paper to set.

4. Let them firm up

Leave at room temperature for 15–20 minutes
or pop in the fridge for a faster set.

Done.
That’s the whole recipe.
We love a snack that respects our time.

Cute ways to display them

  • Stand them in a jar filled with lollies or rice

  • Stick them into floral foam for a party centrepiece

  • Wrap in clear cellophane for easy take-home treats

Suddenly it looks like you planned everything in advance.
We won’t tell anyone otherwise.
